I’ve looked at my competition. Lets face it – for an experienced and professional guide who is actually trying to make a living at this, nowadays – you’re looking at about a hundred bucks an hour. I stick close to that as a flat rate, but may increase a bit if there is a third fisherman in the boat, or if I have to travel far and have to invest in lodging. In any case, costs listed are for two fishermen or two hunters in the Brainerd Lakes Area. For special circumstances, please inquire and I will give you a hard quote.
Half day – Four hour trip – $450
3/4 day – Six hour trip – $650
Full day – Eight hour trip – $850
If you have a larger group, please ask. There are many guides in this area whom I know and can work with to get another boat – so that your group is comfortable with plenty of space to fish. Friendly competition and trash-talk is encouraged!
